Main Area of Focus:

Visibility and Environment Responsiveness of Car Body

Problem Statement:

Currently there is a disconnect between the car and the changing conditions of the environment in terms of sufficient visibility of car to car and car to pedestrian.

Our design solution will reduce pedestrian and driver fatalities and injuries by improving the car body's ability to respond to environmental changes, in degrees of luminosity of both hue and brightness, in order to achieve better visibility for both pedestrians and drivers.

Factors our solution will address:

1. making the car exterior -

• more visible to drivers
• more visible to pedestrians
• more responsive to environmental conditions

2. using the car exterior as a mode of communication between drivers and drivers and pedestrians
